The economic crisis has forced many companies to put their focus on cost cutting in order to protect their margin or to survive. Often the implemented cost savings initiatives are direct savings that could be gained from eliminating an activity or from squeezing suppliers or customers. From our point of view, what is not considered enough is looking at cost savings opportunities from an end-to-end supply chain perspective. Supply chain is an area that can offer great opportunities by looking at 3 levels: Strategic, Tactical and Operational. In this interactive workshop, we will guide you through supply chain cost optimization, best practices and case studies.
