The Project Manager (PMO) is a highly visible role that is responsible for driving the transformation activities for Singapore Replenishment Center (SRC) and 3rd party service providers’ warehouses migration from current location to a new location. This leader will lead cross-functional internal and external resources and has overall accountability of the execution and performance of projects and transformation initiatives.


Manage DC daily operation activities at warehouse facility. To ensure strict execution of the SOP and meet KPIs.

Technology has transformed and shaped today’s business, revolutionizing supply chains. The rising number of new technologies has greatly impacted supply chain performance. New trends in technologies that are of interest and priorities among supply chain leaders include: Visibility, Mobility, Big Data… Today, studying the opportunities and challenges brought about by technologies is an exceptional interest to supply chain and logistics practitioners.
VN-SCMC aims to provide a platform for students in Vietnam to be engaged in the industry through direct engagement with real case studies in Vietnam. Along with a case study, they are to resent their views on the “Challenges & Opportunities relating to apply new technologies to improve the supply chain of the selected product”.
This is one of the Vietnam Supply Chain’s initiatives to better serve the community through development of young talents and interest in the supply chain and logistics industry. The competition is an interactive and exciting composition of real-life situations and learning opportunities. 




For the Preliminary Round, all participating teams will submit a maximum 3-minute video clip to describe the supply chain of a product made in Vietnam, at their choice of selection. English voicing or sub-titles are needed for the clips. The clip should focus on presenting the supply chain of that product in Vietnam. Out of all participating teams, 16 teams will be shortlisted and emergeas Finalists of the competition. 
All 16 final teams will then get to present their projects to a panel of Industry professionals. The presentation should not be more than 20 slides, targeting to present in within 15 minutes, in English.

Any students of tertiary institutions aged 18-25 in Vietnam is allowed to participate. 
All companies or products selected must have the operation in Vietnam. 
Although teams are allowed to choose the same company or product, the teams must note that it will put them at a disadvantage due to the availability of comparison.
The video clip should be in MP4 file.
Team select 1 product for 2 rounds.
The team must ensure that the contents of the video clips are not strictly plagiarized from another source. Vietnam Supply Chain reserves all rights to disqualify any team by the rules of the competition, and also to make changes to competition details without any prior notice.

Eckart Dutz, General Director, RAPI B2B Office Solutions & General Manager, Pacific Partners (VN) - Uncle Bills Discount Stores
Eckart is General Director of Rapi B2B Office Solutions (formerly Cartridge World (since 2006)). He came to Vietnam in 1995 and has worked from 1996 - 2004 for Unilever in Vietnam, Thailand, Netherlands, Germany in various Supply Chain positions. Most recently as Regional Supply Chain Manager for Ice Cream for South East Asia. Next to Rapi, Eckart is also General Manager of Pacific Partners (VN) (since 2004), a Sourcing Company specialized in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (Food and Nonfood). That includes export activities to Markets in the Pacific Islands as well as the import of Nonfood products (Sole agent for UBL China) to Vietnam. Most recently he has launched the first Discount Stores under the "Uncle Bills" Brand in Ho Chi Minh City. Eckart received a PhD in Supply Chain Management from Mannheim University (Germany) and a Diploma in Business Administration as well as a Post Graduate Degree (Lic.rer.pol.) in International Economics. He is Co-Founder of the Vietnam Supply Chain Community and previously on the Boards of Advisors of the Vietnam Supply Chain Council as well as an Advisor to the Sourcing & Purchasing Club Vietnam. Furthermore he is Lecturer for the Executive MBA Programs of the RMIT and the Vietnam National University.
Julien Brun, General Director, CEL Consulting
  Julien is the founder and Director of CEL Consulting, the first international Supply Chain and Operations consulting firm in Vietnam. He is now managing a team of consultants who is fully involved in providing their expertise to procurement, manufacturing and logistics related businesses in the region. MSc in mechanical and system engineering (Technology University of Troyes, Ecole Nationale des Arts et Metiers, Paris), he gathered experience and know-how at several positions in product/process optimization in aeronautics (Airbus, Cooper tool) and automotive industry (Peugeot Citroen, Rover group) in France, England and Holland. Julien has spent as well 2 years in Africa, where he coordinated logistics and food distribution for >100,000p refugee camps in Africa, for the account of WFP (World Food Program) and UNHCR (High Commissioner for Refugees). From his arrival in Vietnam in 2005, Julien immediately felt lined up with local dynamism and developed the firm intention to support actively the country's industrial development. Beside consulting work, he is now lecturer in Lean Management and SCM in for Executive MBA program of CFVG Ho Chi Minh city. Recently, Julien has been voted to be the Vice President of French Chamber of Commerce Vietnam.
Duc Nguyen, General Manager, Prism
  Duc is a GM, Business Development, of Prism Information Technology (IT) Services Ltd. who is a pioneer in cloud-based managed IT services in Vietnam. He has mostly 20-year experience in providing enterprise IT solutions and services such as project management (Oracle Primavera), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and CRM (eBPCS, Sage Accpac, Exact, and Microsoft Dynamics) to customers in supply chain industry in Vietnam. Prior to Prism, Duc has over 8 years in the post of executive management of European and American enterprises management software companies as well as industrial equipment distribution.He was a management and technology consultant at international auditing firms such as Arthur Andersen and KPMG for several years. Duc obtained an MBA degree from RMIT International University Vietnam besides his Diploma of Foreign Trade at the Economics University of HCMC. He isa guess speaker in various workshops and seminar such as for ERP, project management, CRM, etc. at RMIT University, Supply Chain and IT communities. Duc was a cooperative columnist for a few business and industry magazines such as Vietnam Economic Times (VET), PC World, Saigon Times Group, and Dau Tu (Investment).


Gerald Glauerdt, Chief Operating Officer & Co-founder, Lazada Vietnam
Gerald Glauerdt is COO cum Co-Founder of Lazada Group (Vietnam) since May 2012. Lazada is the leading online shopping mall in South East Asia with operations in Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and The Phillipines. Before joining in Lazada Vietnam, he was Senior Manager at Rocket Internet Munich at German over 2 years. Gerald worked in consulting firms for over 3 years as consultant. He can speak fluently 3 languages: German, English and Spanish. He also got MBA from IESE Business School - University of Navarra.
