We see many people struggling during Covid finding and getting daily needs... Supply is often limited, several markets or stores are closed. Some districts are more affected than others. Only 12% of usual retail operations (equivalent to 3,759 stores) in HCMC open during the city lockdown. Half of wards in HCMC accommodate only 20% of the above-mentioned essential stores. Nearly 80% of wards in HCMC have not had charity shops of essential goods to support the ones in need.
