Big C Vietnam is one of the largest shopping centers in Vietnam, with 3 supermarkets in the center of Vietnam, 9 supermarkets in the North and 10 locations in the South. Most items in Big C are made in Vietnam.
Job Description
The merchandiser (female preferred) is in charge of the daily communication with the suppliers and the buyers. She carries out the orders follow up until the shipment day. She helps the Import department of Big C Vietnam with the food products importation. She works daily with foreigners.
• To communicate daily with the suppliers and the buyers
• To collect data from the suppliers (quotations, samples, documents…)
• To prepare the product technical documents needed for the Import-export activities (license, customs…)
Job Requirements
• Acquaintance with the products: Meat (Pork, Chicken, Seafood…), Fruits and Vegetables, Grocery, wine…
• Technical knowledge : Import procedure in Vietnam for Food if possible, Export procedure
• University degree in Foreign Language / Foreign Trade
• Minimum 3 years Experience in Import-Export / Marketing / Purchasing/ trading in a food Importer or Exporter/ food industry
• Fluency in written and spoken in English ( + French if possible)
• Good computer skills (Excel / Word/ Outlook …)
• High communication ability
• Must be well organized - Pay attention to details
• Team Spirit
