About the program

Within the dynamic Asian region, Vietnam is one of the fastest growing nations in the world and expected to continue to do so in the years to come. Vietnamese SMEs, as growth engine of the country, will have to make a step forward in order to realize the full growth potential. The SME program by Vietnam Supply Chain provides small and medium sized local enterprises the opportunity to evaluate, free of charge, their supply chain with supply chain professionals.

A strong personal approach
"Each project within the program is tailored to the specific needs of the SME but roughly consists of three phases"
Phase 1 Introduction: In a first session (~2-3 hrs), the SME will explain more about their business which provides the industry professional with a detailed understanding of the current situation. The industry professional will follow a proven framework to cover all supply chain related areas and, together with the SME, he or she will identify potential areas of improvement.

Phase 2 Teach & Improve Dependent: on the nature of current issues and improvement areas, the program continues with supporting the SME in conducting analysis, explaining supply chain fundamentals or organizing workshops for employees. All with the aim to define a solution and approach to improve and overcome a current issue.

Phase 3 Hand-Over: Once a clear solution is defined, the professional will handover the project to the SME again and will be available to provide support with implementation if needed.

An outcome with benefits all

The outcome of the SME Program will benefit all parties involved; the Vietnamese SME, the VSC Community and the Industry Professional
